I may be small but I pack a big punch!

One of the challenges in the lighting industry is to produce more and more light out of smaller and smaller sources. Solais recently decided to rise to this challenge and asked our team of engineers to do exactly that. We gave them permission to ignore conventional lamp sizes for this purpose.

They responded with the X24 Series – a 3” diameter replacement lamp. This is an actively cooled lamp, about the same length of a PAR30 long neck but smaller in diameter. At 24-watts and 1600 lumens, this little lamp produces a massive amount of light. With a Center Beam Candle Power significantly brighter than the mean lumens of a 39-watt ceramic metal and brighter than a 90-watt halogen PAR38, this lamp packs quite a punch.

But we didn’t stop there; Solais is now offering a matching trackhead, with the same wattage and output as the replacement lamp, but usable on L-type, H-type or J-type track as specified. Our trackhead doesn’t need a separate power supply like most other LED trackheads, because it is built right in – eliminating the eye sore often associated with an external power supply. Measuring at 3” in diameter and 4 ½” long, this is one of the smallest and sleekest on the market. And, as with any decent trackhead, it will hold a full range of accessories from spread lenses to a hexagonal louver to dichroic lenses.

And yet, we went further. We figured if the trackhead could hold accessories, then why not the lamp as well? Solais is proud to produce the first replacement lamp to ever offer a full range of accessories integral to the lamp itself.

Both the XL24 replacement lamp and the Xi24 trackhead are available at 3000K in Silver, Black or White housing and in 15°, 25° & 40° optics.

Finally, a sleek and powerful LED solution for the specification community.
