Get Wet! Solais LRP Lamps Taking the Plunge!

While our actively-cooled LR series lamps are to be used in dry locations only, our passively-cooled LRP & LBR series lamps have always been rated for damp location. This means they could be used in a pool area, or in an exterior area that is not exposed directly to rain. Many have been used in Porte-cocheres, or wall mounted down light cylinders that are closed on top but open below.

Now the LRP38 and LRP30LN from the LRP series lamps are wet location rated. This means that they can be used in a medium based wet location gasketed socket. Finally an LED replacement for the PAR38 wet location halogen lamp out there! Better than that, we have two sizes in two different beam spreads and two different color temperatures as standard offerings!

While the LBRs will continue to be only damp location rated, our LRP series lamps will all be wet location rated, even the soon-to-be launched LRP30 (shortneck), LRP20 & LRP16 lamps. These will be wet location rated from the get go.

There is finally a wide selection of wet location LED PAR lamps in multiple sizes and lumen outputs. No more expensive outdoor rated fixtures are needed for a variety of landscaping illumination; just a simple medium based wet location socket and your choice of Solais LRP lamps. You don’t even need a glass cover to prevent the leaves from collecting on the lamp, because Solais LRP lamps do not get nearly as hot as their halogen counterpart.
