Color Rendering
A high R9 value means a much better color rendering result for most applications. There will be more R9 labeling along with CRI moving forward. We will also begin to see more and more TM-30 color analysis being requested. Fixture color rendering ability is important to users!
Dark Sky Compliance
As the years go on, we become more aware of light pollution in the environment. Dark sky compliance is sought out more and more by people looking to upgrade their exterior lighting to LED.(ahem… see how EnergyLite product families do!)

Retro and sleek designs with custom finishes and a more modern look is the style we are expecting to see moving forward.
