Solais Lighting Announces Availability of Nearly 50 New Energy Star-Certified Lamps and Fixtures in Growing Portfolio

(Stamford, Connecticut) – Solais Lighting, Inc., a leading manufacturer of lightweight, specification-grade LED lamps featuring exclusive, actively-cooled Luxiance® thermal management and unique OPTICS2™ technology, is proud to announce that its proactive new product introduction efforts in combination with its aggressive product certification strategy will result in the official Energy Star® certification of 60 products within its portfolio as of Second Quarter 2013.

Launching from a base of just 12 Energy Star-certified products in 2012, Solais developed and submitted additional products to rigorous testing last year and is proud to offer the marketplace their choice of nearly 50 new cutting-edge, Energy Star-certified products by May, with more to follow.

Solais' Energy Star-certified products cover a broad range of options within the following popular product families:

1) "Xi24 Series" LED Track Fixtures - available in 1600 lumen, 15, 25, and 40-degree beam angle options, Xi24 track fixtures are ideal for a broad range of applications within the high-end retail and commercial sectors and are fully compatible with three major track systems.

2) "LR Series" Actively-Cooled LED Lamps - Solais' broad range of "LR20" PAR20, "LR30" PAR30, "LR30LN" PAR30 Long Neck, and "LR38" PAR38 LED lamp replacements offer the industry's leading-edge LED technology for the market's most popular track and recessed fixtures. Utilizing a proprietary Luxiance™ active cooling system to deliver superior performance, the 12-21 Watt models are available in a wide variety of 15, 25, and 40-degree beam angle, 2700K and 3000K color temperature, and 675-1600 lumen output options.

3) "LRP Series" Passively-Cooled LED Lamps - Solais' unique "LRP30LN" PAR30 Long Neck and "LRP38" PAR38 LED lamp replacements feature the company's patent-pending OPTICS2™ technology, which offers the benefits of a single-source light to truly match the aesthetics and performance of incandescent and halogen sources. The 14-16 Watt models are available in 25 and 40-degree beam angle, 2700K and 3000K color temperature, and 850-1025 lumen output options.

By meeting the elite specifications of the EPA/DOE's Energy Star program, the Energy Star label awarded to Solais Lighting's LED products assures the marketplace that these lamps and fixtures lower greenhouse gas emissions relative to other lighting products available in the industry and significantly reduce energy consumption and costs without sacrificing performance, features, and comfort.

"We're thrilled to have so many Energy Star-certified products within our portfolio and to be able to offer the marketplace many more opportunities to apply Solais' exclusive, high-performing, and cutting-edge LED technology to the market's broad range of lighting applications," said James Leahy, president of Solais Lighting. "The Energy Star mark assures lighting professionals and end-users everywhere of the benefits of high quality and sustainability and Solais is committed to the continuous pursuit of this critical, benchmark certification for its industry-leading products."
